Nick Verhaeghe

Nick Verhaeghe is doctor-assistant at the Interuniversity Centre for Health Economics Research (I-CHER) at the VUB. In addition he is a professor in Health Economics at the Department of Public Health and Primary Care at Ghent University. He holds a MSc in Health Care Management and Policy, obtained at Ghent University in 2005 and a PhD in Social Health Sciences (Ghent University 2013). His areas of expertise are health economic evaluation studies and cost-of-illness studies. Since May 2022, he is the coordinator of the working group “Financing of mental health care” at the Staten-Generaal Geestelijke Gezondheidszorg.
